We have a new way to earn points. It's called the "Eliminator Idol"
Every week you can pick who will be kicked off the show for 1 bonus point each week.
If you guess right you get 1 point.
If you guess wrong nothing happens.
If you don't send in your pick for some reason (your dog ate your computer) don't worry about it, nothing will happen. You just wont have a chance to earn the extra point that week.
You Eliminator Idol must be entered before every results show.
How To Play
You will only be making selections twice through the competition.
2. Your 2nd selection will consist of 6 Idols.

1. Before February 28, 2008 8:00 PM EST-
Select 6 men and 6 woman who you think will make it to the final 12 American Idols. Also Select 1 Idol that you think will be the American Idol. This "Tie Breaker Idol" will be used in the event of a tie.
You will receive 1 point for every Idol that you have selected, that makes it through to the next round. You can receive a maximum of 12 points per week.
2. Before March 11, 2008 8:00 PM EST-
Select 6 Idols (boys or girls). Place them in the order that you think they will finish. (Example: 1. Taylor Hicks 2. Cathy Mcphee 3. Elliot Yamin 4. Mandisa 5. Blake Lewis 6. Melinda Doolittle)
You will receive 3 points for every Idol that you have selected in this round that makes it through to the next week. You can receive a maximum of 18 points per week.
When there are 5 Idols remaining, you will receive 6 points for each of your top 5 Idols that are left in the competition. You can receive a maximum of 30 points this week.
When there are 2 Idols remaining, you will receive 20 points for each of your top 2 Idols that are left in the competition. You can receive a maximum of 40 points this week.
When there are 2 Idols remaining, you will receive 50 points for picking the American Idol.
Again your top 12 must be selected before February 28, 2008 8:00 PM.
Your 2nd Round selections must be selected before March 11, 2008 8:00 PM.
If your selections are not in on time you will be eliminated from the league.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
Whoever has the most points at the end of the season will be our champion.
***In the event of a tie, the order of elimination of your "Tie Breaker Idol" will determine the winner.

The more people to join, the bigger the prize!
1st place takes home the pot!
If there is a tie at the end of the competition the winners will split the pot.
